Born and raised in the South Carolina Lowcountry, Naomi Jewel is a country singer-songwriter whose music is deeply rooted in authenticity and storytelling. Growing up on a farm, she was immersed in the western lifestyle and rodeo world, shaping both her sound and songwriting from an early age. Naomi’s drive and hardworking nature derives from years of working on the farm and efforts to carry on the western way of life.
Naomi’s vocal career began at the Charleston County School of the Arts, where she received classical vocal training. She traveled nationwide performing with her choir, including two performances at Carnegie Hall. Although she has experience across multiple musical genres, her sound remains firmly rooted in classic country.
Influenced by the 90’s country she grew up on, Naomi blends classic country roots with heartfelt, modern emotion, delivering songs that feel lived-in and real. Her debut single “By Yourself” is an anthem for empowering women after a break up. “I Know I Do” incorporates feelings of nostalgia and reminiscing on memories. “Jesus and Johnny Cash” expresses Naomi’s core beliefs: faith and country music. Her most recent single “The Best Is Yet To Come” serves as a reminder to just take life day by day and keep going, even when times are tough. Many of her songs showcase renowned musicians, such as Levi Lowrey of Yesterday’s Wine, Mark Bryan of Hootie & the Blowfish, and 5 time CMA Musician of the Year, Jenee Fleenor.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina in May of 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Entertainment Management, Naomi moved to Nashville to complete a summer internship with River House Artists and immerse herself in the music scene. She uses this hands on experience and knowledge of the music business to her advantage as an artist.
Naomi Jewel has spent the last several years playing as many shows as possible, and has had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Randall Fowler, Cody Webb, Pat Cooper, Javier Colon, Edwin McCain and Corey Smith. For the past three years she has traveled to Las Vegas during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo to perform at the World Series Finale of Team Roping. Naomi is a familiar presence at rodeos across the Southeast, several notable Nashville writer’s rounds, and has performed at iconic venues including The Windjammer in Charleston and the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach. Whether she’s playing a packed venue or a rodeo arena, Naomi Jewel’s goal remains the same—to connect with listeners through soul-touching country music that feels real, honest, and timeless.
